Charli XCX Portrays a Dark Alter Ego of Her Own Identity in Fictional Documentary First Look

The celebrated musician is getting ready for a significant big screen presence in 2026, beginning with the fictional documentary titled The Moment.

Throughout the movie, the artist plays what she refers to as a dark version of her public image.

It’s the realest depiction of the music business that I’ve ever witnessed, Charli stated.

She clarified in an interview: This isn’t a concert film, however the inspiration stemmed from the expectation to create one.

An Early Look into The Moment

The initial preview, launched on this week, combines actual recordings from her live performances with made-up behind-the-scenes moments.

The film is helmed and co-scripted by her collaborator, who shared that the plot revolves around a world where Charli took completely different paths throughout the marketing of her chart-topping release Brat.
